Shoes Saves Foundation Newsletter
May 5, 2018
Hello friends and sponsors, happy, happy, May. Now that spring is in full swing, we see the evidence of; all of God’s goodness all around us. We are hopeful, of the spring and summer season, being the best we have known thus far. Our goals; for the youth this summer, continue to show promise as many are focusing in the community on constructive and positive summertime activities. We expect to help many students find summer employment this year. The staff at the Shoes Saves Foundation, will be assisting with writing resumes, and work searches for all interested youth, at no cost. We will also provide parents with action items to help their children with other summertime activities, if a summer job is not a viable option. Our goal, of course; is to infuse as much summertime activities into the community to make this summer season as enjoyable, positive, and safe; for as many youth as possible. We are also focusing on programs that offer skilled trade training and summer educational/vocational training for the youth. We want the youth and the parents of the community to know, there are options for all children, other than sitting in front of a play station all day. Finally, we are recommending several free or low cost sport leagues and sport associations for the youth this summer. All in all, we expect the youth of the community to be quite busy this summer. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers through out the entire spring/summer season, and through the rest of this year. Praise the Lord.
Don’t forget to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation; as prayer does truly change things. Also, don’t forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; and our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Also, if you would like to send in your monthly tithes and offerings, you may do so by following the instructions on the donations tab. Our scripture reading for the month of April, comes from the book of Psalms, chapter 71, verse 17, which says: "Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds." Remember the youth this summer, and what it was like to be a person in their own youth.
Reverend Joi Karla Hubert
With the love of Christ, remember God is Good.
Recite Joi's Prayer below for those who love to pray their own way
through any situation:
Lord Elohim, help us through this time and bring us to our correct and
rightful place. Remove all demonic forces from around us and those who
heed their call. You are righteous and just, and a guiding force through
darkness. We also ask you to cleanse and purify all that we eat and
drink, on a daily basis. Lord God of all the heavens and earth, I
believe in my heart that Jesus is the son of God, and confess with my
own mouth: Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Jehovah God, you answer
the prayers of those who ask and call on you in the name of the Messiah.
Bless us with right standing Lord, bless us with health and strength
Lord, and help us meet all requirements of our own daily existence.
Shine us up Lord, and remember us Lord, and take us on wings of glory
where we should go, stay and remain; in Jesus name Ben Elohim Al Akbar.
Amen and Amen.
