June 5, 2018

Hello friends and sponsors. It is June already again, and I’m happy to say the summer is well under way. There is a lot happening in the month of June, this year; so let’s start with the top of the list; The 17th Annual Jackson Blues Festival which, will be the weekend after Memorial Day May 31st through June 2nd (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) at the Jackson County Airport. Next, The Festival of the Arts, in Downtown Grand Rapids, at Michigan Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, held on June 1, June 2, and June 3. Michigan will also be holding the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge Fishing Tournament, located at Chinook Pier, 301 N. Harbor Drive, Grand Haven, MI 49417. The Fishing Tournament will be held on June 1, June 2, and June 3. The final event we’re setting our calendars to, is The Dinner Theatre of Savannah Sipping Society, located at Cornwell Dinner Theatre 18935 15 1/2 Mile Road, Marshall, MI 49068. The Dinner Theatre dates are as following: every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 05/03/2018 - 06/23/2018.  As you can see, we have quite a busy schedule planned for this June 2018, and boy oh boy are we excited about it. We hope to see you and your family out and about this June. Remember, be safe; and have lots of fun this June. Finally, don’t forget to keep us at The Shoes Saves Foundation Ministries in your thoughts and prayers this month. Praise The Lord.

Don’t forget to contact us about all youth summer time activities, at The Shoes Saves Foundation; and our affiliates. Also, don’t forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; and our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Also, if you would like to send in your monthly tithes and offerings, you may do so by following the instructions on thdonations tab. Our scripture reading for the month of June, comes from the book of Jeremiah, chapter 40, verse 12, which says: "they all came back to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at Mizpah, from all the countries where they had been scattered. And they harvested an abundance of wine and summer fruit.”  Remember The lord wants us to have fun, so let’s get out there this summer and have a great time.

Reverend Joi Karla Hubert

With the love of Christ, remember God is Good.

Recite Joi's Prayer below for those who love to pray their own way
through any situation:

Lord Elohim, help us through this time and bring us to our correct and
rightful place. Remove all demonic forces from around us and those who
heed their call. You are righteous and just, and a guiding force through
darkness. We also ask you to cleanse and purify all that we eat and
drink, on a daily basis. Lord God of all the heavens and earth, I
believe in my heart that Jesus is the son of God, and confess with my
own mouth: Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Jehovah God, you answer
the prayers of those who ask and call on you in the name of the Messiah.
Bless us with right standing Lord, bless us with health and strength
Lord, and help us meet all requirements of our own daily existence.
Shine us up Lord, and remember us Lord, and take us on wings of glory
where we should go, stay and remain; in Jesus name Ben Elohim Al Akbar.
Amen and Amen.
