Hello friends, it's 2018, and we are highly excited about the new year. I normally call around just about midnight or just shortly thereafter, to say Happy New Year to all those who did not make it to any New Year’s celebration I might be attending. When I call I normally ask, what is your New Year’s Resolution?  This year I personally decided my New Year’s Resolution is: I sometimes make mistakes, but I can own them; and try to make it right, when from time to time I error, (which of course is next to never ~ LOL {laugh out loud}.  Seriously though, I just made one mistake publicly even, I signed off on the wrong date on Newsletter 42, and approved January 5, 2017; for January 5, 2018.  Woops!!!!!  If you saw that, although it has been changed to the correct date, forgive Reverend Joi; because I'm close to being perfect, but not quite there yet.  Praise The Lord, and Happy New Year.

Well Metro Detroit, and surrounding Detroit Metropolitan area; the votes have been counted and are in, Mike Duggan took a land slide win over Coleman A. Young II.  After much debating, and promises spoken by both parties, Duggan took a major lead over Young, winning the Detroit Michigan Mayoral race.  Duggan, the incumbent candidate, is Detroit City Mayor again.   As the city settles into another term with Duggan, our goals remain vigilant for continual change and city development.  We’ll hold on tight, and see what the next couple of years have in store for us in Detroit Michigan, under the Duggan Administration.  Chime in, and tell us what you think.

What do you think about Donald Trump's plans to build a wall between the United States and Mexico?  Are you for or against his wall building agenda?  Of course, there are all kinds of walls around the globe, The Wailing Wall of Israel, The Great Wall of China, and The Ancient Wall of Troy.   Take a moment and think about the importance and reasoning behind the construction of these walls, and tell us what you think.  Wall  VS. NO Wall!!!

Ok; Guys and Gals, it's spring 2017, and I'm feeling pretty good about that.  We have a new president and new group in the White House, contact us and let us know how you feel about that. Do you feel the republicans are doing a good good so far in the White House?  Let us know.

When you were a child, (assuming your over age 30) did you ever think about what life would be like in 2016?  I for sure didn't.  But here we are, and it's 2016 anyway.  What are your goals for 2016.  We hear people say I'm going to stop smoking, or I'm going to learn to cook.  Some people say, I'm going to learn to listen more.  One of my personal goals for 2016, is to stay whole inside and outside.
